“What They See is What They Will Be” 100 Black Men of Long Beach, Inc. is a nonprofit mentoring and community leadership organization dedicated to improving quality of life in the Long Beach community. Through consistent mentorship, education support, health and wellness initiatives, and economic empowerment programs, the organization helps young men develop the skills, confidence, and character needed to succeed in school, careers, and life.

What They Offer

  • Monthly GRITS Mentoring Program for boys and young men
  • Academic support and college/career exposure
  • Leadership and life-skills development
  • Health & wellness education and community events
  • Economic empowerment and financial literacy programming

Who It’s For

Youth ages 8–18, particularly African American boys and young men, and families across the Long Beach community.
