Emma Hudson

Emma Hudson served as a Summer Intern with the Long Beach City Prosecutor’s Office in 2024. She completed a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from California State University, Long Beach and went on to begin a Master of Arts in Sociology at Arizona State University.

Deymi Tovar

Deymi Tovar served as a Summer Intern with the Long Beach City Prosecutor’s Office in 2024. Following the internship, she continued developing her leadership skills through the Long Beach Police Explorers program. Deymi went on to pursue undergraduate studies at California State University, Long Beach, with the goal of majoring in Criminal Justice.

Kasey Holland

Kasey Holland served as a Summer Intern with the Long Beach City Prosecutor’s Office in 2024. She pursued her undergraduate studies at University of California, Santa Barbara and developed a strong interest in prosecution through her experience with the City Prosecutor’s Office. In Fall 2025, Kasey completed an internship with the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia, further building her experience in the prosecutorial field. She subsequently prepared for the LSAT and the law school admissions process as she pursued a legal career.

Brooklyn Selma

Brooklyn Selma served as a Summer Intern with the Long Beach City Prosecutor’s Office in 2024. She attended California State University, Long Beach, where she transitioned from studying Criminal Justice to Healthcare Administration after discovering an interest in healthcare operations. Brooklyn worked as a Student Assistant supporting the Human Resources and Finance departments within the College of Health & Human Services Dean’s Office and later completed a college internship with Kaiser Permanente, gaining hands-on experience in healthcare administration.
