Long Beach BLAST is a nonprofit organization that helps at-promise youth achieve academic and personal success through mentoring, education, and career readiness programs. Partnering with local schools, colleges, and community organizations, BLAST connects students with caring mentors and structured learning opportunities that build confidence, life skills, and pathways to college and careers.

What They Offer

Academic Mentoring Program (AMP): One-to-one mentoring with trained college student mentors
Homework help and academic support
Life skills and character development
College and career exploration workshops
Financial literacy and goal-setting curriculum
Bridge to Success classroom-based mentoring and future planning
