Operation Jump Start is a Long Beach nonprofit that provides long-term mentoring and academic support to low-resourced, first-generation students. Since 1994, OJS has helped youth build the skills, confidence, and resources needed to graduate high school, enroll in college, and successfully earn a four-year degree.
