People v. Sean Trimble

On November 2, 2023, Long Beach Police arrested Sean Pierce Lewis Trimble for committing a lewd act in the public.  On November 6, 2023, The Long Beach City Prosecutor’s Office filed criminal charges, alleging a violation of Penal Code section 647(a) and Health and Safety Code section 11364.

In addition, the City Prosecutor’s Office requested $100,000 bail. The judge set bail at $50,000.

This case was not presented to the LADA’s office, because it does not qualify for felony level charges since the defendant did not expose his genitals outside of his clothing. Therefore, the most serious applicable charge is Penal Code section 647(a), which can only be filed as a misdemeanor.

The defendant was arraigned on the charges on November 6, 2023, and his next court date scheduled is November 21, 2023, in the Long Beach Courthouse.
