Interview Tips

INTERVIEW TIPS — BE PREPARED

  • Expect a panel interview.
  • We ask behavioral-/situational-based questions. Take time to research the S.T.A.R. Technique.
  • Dress professionally. Like they say, “Dress for the part you want, not the part you have.”
  • Do your research. There is a lot of information on our website; take time to what prosecutors do.
  • Know what the criminal justice system is from the prospective of a prosecutor.
  • Review your past job descriptions and accomplishments. Be prepared to discuss these with the panel members.
  • Be sure to review the description of the job for which you are interviewing. It should be related to the legal or prosecution field in general.
  • Bringing in past presentations or projects is always a plus.
  • Come with a positive attitude and a big smile!
