LBCP Summer Interns 2016

Riley Minkoff

Riley Minkoff served as a Summer Intern with the Long Beach City Prosecutor’s Office in 2016. Riley earned an undergraduate degree from Muhlenberg College before attending University of San Diego School of Law, where Riley also completed a Master’s degree in Peace and Justice Studies. Riley graduated with both degrees in 2024. Following graduation, Riley worked as a Legal Fellow with the City of San Diego Office of Immigrant Affairs and went on to practice law with Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud & Romo in the firm’s La Jolla office, focusing on special education law.


Lance Cotton

Lance Cotton served as a Summer Intern with the Long Beach City Prosecutor’s Office in 2016. He earned his Juris Doctor in 2019 from Chapman University Dale E. Fowler School of Law. During law school, Lance served as President of the Moot Court Board, leading his team to success in national competitions and developing a strong foundation in advocacy and public speaking. He also co-founded the Black Law Students Association, contributing to increased representation and community building among students of color. Following graduation, Lance became a Deputy District Attorney with the Orange County District Attorney’s Office.


Logan Nantais

Logan Nantais served as a Summer Intern with the Long Beach City Prosecutor’s Office in 2016. Following his internship, he graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania, where he also interned with the U.S. Department of State at the U.S. Embassy in Seoul. He went on to attend University of California, Irvine School of Law, where his legal experience included work with the Penn Cultural Heritage Center on tribal law matters and with Ropers Majeski, a mid-sized law firm in Los Angeles.


Sierra Williams

Sierra Williams served as a Summer Intern with the Long Beach City Prosecutor’s Office in 2016. Her professional career has included producer and social marketing roles across the entertainment industry, including work with OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network, Hearst Television, and the Los Angeles Clippers. She later transitioned into higher education and works as Associate Director of Social Media at Loyola Marymount University.


Adonis Rubio

Adonis Rubio served as a Summer Intern with the Long Beach City Prosecutor’s Office in 2016. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Stanford University in 2021 and went on to pursue doctoral research through Stanford’s Immunology Program at Stanford University.
